According to Contee, “our police engaged the individual; who was holding the pistol.”
Police fired “at least one shot,” the chief continued.
According to him, the individual who was carrying the weapon was shot; at least once, and another person was grazed.
Contee went on to say that the victim “suffered a non-life-threatening graze wound; and has been transferred to a hospital for treatment.”
Males make up both the deceased and the wounded parties. Both police officers were unharmed.

Contee mentioned seeing a “videotape” of the event; but said it was missing the beginning point of the injured person’s pistol.
