Murderer arrested after 15-year-old killed outside school
A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 15-year-old boy was stabbed to death outside a Huddersfield school.
On Wednesday afternoon, the adolescent was attacked near the entrance to North Huddersfield Trust School.
The 16-year-old was apprehended at a town address shortly before 05:00 BST on Thursday, according to West Yorkshire Police.
He is still being held in custody, and investigations are ongoing.
Officers were called to the scene on Woodhouse Hill in the Fartown area on Wednesday around 14:55 BST.
The adolescent was taken to Leeds General Infirmary, where he died shortly afterwards.
North Huddersfield Trust School’s head teacher, Andrew Fell, confirmed the 15-year-old was a student there.
He stated that the school would be closed until 10:30 and then open to provide assistance to students until 14:00.
Students at several universities in Tehran staged similar protests before the protests spread rapidly across the country.
