England is engulfed in ice warnings, numerous complaints regarding children and people on frozen water have spurred urgent pleas from police agencies.

Four youngsters, ages 6, 8, 10, and 11, died one week ago in Solihull after falling into freezing waters.

There have been recent incidents reported in Merseyside, London, Lincolnshire, and Derbyshire.

It happens on Sunday, a day when the Met Office has issued weather warnings for rain, snow, and ice for most of the nation.

Parts of the North East, North West, and Yorkshire have received an amber ice warning, while the majority of England is under a yellow ice warning and rain is forecast for the south.

Last Sunday at Babbs Mill Park, close to Solihull, Finlay Butler, his younger brother Samuel, their cousin Thomas Stewart, and a buddy named Jack Johnson were rescued from chilly waters.

A vigil for the boys was held by hundreds of people on Saturday night.

The same day, after receiving “several calls” concerning kids playing on a frozen pond, Avon and Somerset Police issued a safety alert.

Push-ups and ice hockey games were seen on camera in Verulamium Park in St. Albans, Hertfordshire.

Additionally, according to the Lincolnshire Police, three boys went on to a frozen lake in Horncastle after crossing two young boys had done so across a canal in Grantham.

First Responders in Telford described it as “very heartbreaking” to watch someone riding a bike across a frozen body of water.

Children in Lowestoft tested the ice on a frozen pond, which an assessment revealed was only a few centimeters thick, according to a report from Suffolk County Council on Friday.

On three occasions, police in Cambridgeshire received reports concerning kids playing on frozen lakes, and on Saturday, Northamptonshire police also received calls about kids playing in the chilly water.

According to the London Fire Brigade, it got multiple complaints this week concerning kids and dogs stuck on frozen water.

Children were seen having fun earlier in the week in Staffordshire ponds and lakes in the Solihull area.

On Thursday, young teenagers were seen on camera playing around on an icy lake in Derbyshire, while adults caught on camera skating on a frozen pond in Liverpool were “abusive” when cautioned of the risks.
