Scott Minerd, former High North hero and investor, dies at 63
Scott Minerd, Guggenheim Partners’ global chief investment officer, died of a heart attack during a workout.
Minerd joined Guggenheim after its 1999 inception.
His remarks on macroeconomic trends were followed by investors and 169,000 Twitter followers. He was one of the decade’s best bond investors.
Minerd got the 2017 High North Hero Award for advocating long-term investment in the Arctic to showcase its economic potential.
