A fourth man has been detained on suspicion of killing Birmingham nightclub patron Cody Fisher.
On Boxing Day, a 23-year-old non-league Stratford Town player was fatally wounded after being stabbed on the dance floor of the Crane club in Digbeth.
On Thursday, the 18-year-old suspect was taken into custody in Erdington, Birmingham.
Mr. Fisher, a Redditch resident, was murdered; two individuals have been charged with the crime, while a third has been freed on police bail.
West Midlands Police is still asking for mobile phone images or footage from the venue on 26 December. Det Insp Michelle Thurgood said: “We know lots of people at The Crane were using their mobile phones to take pictures and video on the night.”
The two defendants, Remy Gordon, 22, and Kami Carpenter, 21, both of Birmingham, appeared last week at the city’s Crown Court.
Both were remanded in jail without entering a plea.
The date of the preliminary trial was set for July 3.
