After a man in south-east London was stabbed in the heart in a park, two youths have been charged with murder.

On December 30, Kalabe Legesse, 29, was attacked in Peckham Rye Park and Common, close to Straker’s Road.

Nah’shun Mr. Legesse died of a hemorrhage and a knife wound to the heart; Thomas, 19, and a 16-year-old, who cannot be named owing to his or her age, are suspected of killing him.

According to police, the two are scheduled to appear at Croydon Magistrates’ Court later.

At 20:24 GMT, the Met Police received a call about Mr. Legesse having been stabbed in the park.

He passed away there, according to detectives.
