Teen charged with attempted murder after 14-year-old stabbed

• It is no longer believed that his wounds pose a risk to his life.
• Three local adolescent males have been detained on suspicion of attempted murder.

A 13-year-old boy has been accused of trying to stab another teen to death.

The 14-year-old was found on Wednesday night on Gladdis Road, Bournemouth, with a single stab wound.

He was transported to the hospital in a critical condition.

It is no longer believed that his wounds pose a risk to his life.

Because of prior interactions with the 14-year-old, the matter has been forwarded to the police watchdog.

Three local adolescent males, one 14 years old and two 15 years old, were also detained on suspicion of attempted murder, according to Dorset Police.

The police department also issued a call for information from two males who were driving a pickup truck and flagged down police at the location and may have seen the stabbing.
