Some of my friends are unaccounted for. I’ve just received the devastating news that one of my friends was fatally attacked in her home two days ago. Consequently, we took the earliest available flight.”

Ella Waweya:

Referred to globally and on various social media platforms as “Captain Ella,” she has made history as the first Muslim Arab woman to attain the rank of major in the IDF.

On the IDF’s official Instagram account, this officer can be observed providing regular updates on the ongoing Gaza conflict, while also conveying a message of unity in support of Israel’s success.

Zohar and Liron:

Following their fortunate escape from the harrowing massacre at the Supernova music festival in southern Israel on Saturday, the couple wasted no time in reporting for reserve duty within the Combat Engineering Corps’ reserve battalion.

Plestia Alaqad:

A Palestinian journalist, Ms. Alaqad, has been using her mobile phone to capture and document the extensive destruction in her surroundings. She is situated in Gaza and has been illustrating the profound changes in daily life following the commencement of the Israel-Hamas conflict that began on Saturday.

A brief glance at her Instagram account clearly reveals a significant shift in her posts. Her content over the past three days has completely diverged from her usual, aesthetically pleasing posts that depicted her everyday life.
