US will always be there for NATO alliance, says Trump

Donald Trump shared his views on global politics, NATO, and his foreign policy on social media.

US President Donald Trump shared his views on global politics, NATO, and his foreign policy on social media, stating that China and Russia fear and respect only one country which is United States.

Trump emphasized that America has always stood by NATO, regardless of whether the alliance stood by the US. However, he expressed doubts about whether NATO would support the US if it were truly needed.

He noted that many NATO countries historically contributed less than 2% of their GDP, while the U.S. carried the financial burden. Trump claimed he pushed NATO members to increase their contributions up to 5% of GDP, a goal previously deemed impossible. He added that, had he not been in power, Russia would have already taken over all of Ukraine.

Trump also highlighted his achievements in foreign policy, saying he ended eight wars on his own and saved millions of lives, which he considers his greatest accomplishment. He noted that Norway overlooked him for the Nobel Peace Prize but said he was unconcerned.

He reiterated that without the US, NATO has little influence over Russia and China, which is why these countries fear and respect America alone. Trump claimed that during his first term, he strengthened the US military and continued that process throughout his presidency.

Concluding his statement, Trump said his mission remains to make America great again and that the U.S. will always be there for NATO, even if the alliance does not reciprocate.
