World record: A man spins a football for 21.66 seconds on his finger
When a guy from British Columbia spun a football on one finger for 21.66 seconds, he set a Guinness World Record.
Sandeep Singh Kaila, an Abbotsford resident who previously made headlines by breaking the Guinness World Record for spinning a basketball on a toothbrush, said he decided to attempt his latest record after learning that there was no current world record for spinning an American football on one finger.
Kaila picked Canada Day as the day for his attempt with respect to his homeland.
He spun the ball for 21.66 seconds, and he obtained his Guinness World Records certificate this week, confirming his achievement.
His next ambition, he added, is to break a world record in a competitive eating category.
Kaila told the media, “I want to do two records in eating,”
He added, “It’s a surprise but someone challenged me and I want to break his record.”
Earlier, when one of two Idaho men tossed 35 ping pong balls that the other caught in a mound of shaving cream on his head, they recaptured a Guinness World Record.
First established the record at 29 catches in 30 seconds with Jonathan “Hollywood” Hannon, but it was surpassed just a few months later by another couple who made 32 catches in 30 seconds, David Rush, who has broken more than 200 Guinness World Records to promote STEM education.
Rush and Hannon attempted to break the record once more, this time with Rush tossing the balls and Hannon attempting to catch them while covered in shaving cream.
With 35 ping pong balls launched and collected in 30 seconds, the two guys were able to reclaim the record.
