KARACHI – Bike riders face a major setback as Honda has increased the prices of CD 70, CG 125, and other models following the imposition of the Carbon Levy on imported motorcycle engines under the Budget 2025–26.
Honda has passed the additional cost from the new taxes directly to consumers. The most affordable model, the Honda CD 70, now carries a price tag of Rs159,900, showing a Rs2,000 increase. Its variant, the CD 70 Dream, has also gone up by Rs2,000 and is now priced at Rs 170,900.
Honda has raised the price of the Pridor by Rs3,000, bringing it to Rs211,900. The popular CG 125 now costs Rs238,900, while the CG 125 Self-Start and CG 125S Gold have both gone up by Rs4,000, with new prices of Rs286,900 and Rs296,900, respectively. In the premium segment, Honda has increased the price of the CB 125F by Rs6,000 to Rs396,900. Both the CB 150F and its Special Edition also saw a Rs6,000 hike, now priced at Rs499,900 and Rs503,900, respectively. These price hikes reflect the ongoing inflation and rising production costs affecting the two-wheeler market.
