BISE DG Khan Announced Intermediate Result 2020

BISE DG Khan Intermediate Result 2020 has been announced today on September 22, Tuesday at 5 pm.

According to the details, BISE DG Khan has announce the result of Intermediate Part 1 and Part 2 today.

The results of F.A FSC will be announced on 22nd September’s evening at 5:00 PM. The news of the results has also been confirmed by the DG Khan Board’s chairman.

It is pertinent to mention here that the intermediate examinations were canceled due to coronavirus’ lockdown. However, the education ministry had created a new result method, based on the promotion formula and the previous year’s marks obtained by the student.

Every year in the month of September, the DG Khan Board declares the results of FA and FSC. In the same way, this year’s results have also been announced on 22nd September 2020.

How BISE DG Khan Intermediate Result 2020 Are Calculated?

Educational activities were badly affected in 2020 due to Coronavirus Pandemic. Examinations and routine of studies were no exceptions. All BISEs in Pakistan conduct 12^th class examinations during the month of April & May every year. Amid coronavirus strict lockdown was implemented all across the country and the exams were cancelled.

Keeping this in view the Education Ministry of Pakistan decided to come up with the solution. After 12^th Class results, students start getting admission in Universities. Thus, it was decided that students will be promoted based on their past result. It means if a student passed in the last class (11^th class), he/she would be declared passed in 12^th class. In addition to giving equal marks of the last year’s result, it was decided that each student will also get a 3% additional grace marks. So the result formula was decided as below:

Marks in 12^th class = Marks in 11^th class + 3% of marks in 11^th class

The above formula for 12^th class is great for students who passed in their 1^st year exam. But for students who failed as a whole or failed in specific exams did not qualify to get promoted.  Board has indicated that these students will have to appear in a special exam which will be held once the Coronavirus situation gets normal and educational activities are restored.
