“Friends” Reunion makes Instagram crash

Jennifer Aniston known for her iconic role as Rachel Green on the television sitcom Friends has broken the Instagram.

She made her debut on the Instagram by posting a little blurry, low resolution photo of her former co-stars from Friends and gave a caption “And now we’re Instagram FRIENDS too. HI INSTAGRAM”.

Right after the star uploaded the photo, fans rushed to follow the star and like and comment on her photo in such numbers that the Instagram temporarily got crashed.

Jennifer has 14.3 million followers at the time of writing and she crossed 10 million followers in less than 48 hours after posted a photo.

She posted the taken from the first episode of her new series The Morning Show as her second post on the Instagram in which she is angrily throwing her phone across a table. She captioned the post “I swear I didn’t mean to break it… Thank you guys for the kind, glitchy welcome.”

The characters of Friends were played by Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer.

The show has ten season and it started from September 1994, the series finale aired on May 6, 2004, and the sitcom was watched by around 52.5 million American viewers, which made it the fifth most-watched series finale in the history of television.

The show ranked no 7 on Empire magazine’s The 50 Greatest TV Shows of All Time and also it ranked 24 on the Writers Guild of America’s 101 Best Written TV Series of All Time.
