Pakistan’s first Festival of humor and laughter #FHL2020 to be kicked off on 27 March in Arts Council of Pakistan – Karachi chapter.

According to the details, #FHL2020 will be three days festival conducted on 27th, 28th and 29th March 2020.

The festival is organized by Mehran Art and Literature Forum (M.A.L.F.) at Arts Council of Pakistan – in collaboration Ministry of culture, tourism and antiquities, Sindh.

FHL 2020 is organized to celebrate humor and laughter for tolerance, emotional health, and wellbeing.

#FestivalofHumorandLaughter brings together a diverse audience of children and adults.

Festival of Humor and Laughter: itinerary
The festival features; sessions on humorous prose and poetry, standup comedy, comedy theatre plays and recitations, music, skits, cartoonists’ exhibition, comedy films’ posters exhibition, bookstalls, food court, kids’ corner and variety of seriously funny stuff.

Meanwhile, the audience will also be pleased with two theatre playa and the musical night on the very first day, and Qawali night on the last day of the event.

Entry in Festival of Humor and Laughter festival will be free of cost and Karachites can enjoy it with their family, according to their convenience.

Event co-founder Rafaqat and Baksh Mehranvi expressed their hope that the festival will be a trendsetter in Pakistan’s cultural diaspora.

A post on the event’s Facebook page reads, 1st Festival of Humor and Laughter provides a chance not only to laugh heartily on other’s follies but also to laugh on ourselves and on our mistakes too. That’s why Charlie Chaplin has told us many years ago, “A day without laughter is a day wasted”
