Who was Mariam Ansari remembering at her wedding?

Actress Mariam Ansari, who tied the knot with former cricketer Moin Khan’s son Owais Khan, remembered her late father who passed away a few weeks prior to the wedding.

Mariam Ansari shared a video to her Instagram account and wrote a long message, paying tribute to her father as she expressed her love for him. She also thanked the fans for conveying their good wishes to the newly-wed.

Using an emotional tone, the actress wrote in the caption “Baba my love, my whole heart, we missed you in every second of every moment. I wish with the core of my heart that you could’ve been there to witness my big day. It was my dream for you to walk me down the aisle. I know how excited you were for my wedding and how much you truly loved Owais. Always my biggest fan, my protector and my shield. There’s nobody who can ever take your place baba. We could have never fathom that you would return to your creator so soon. Like every daughter my father was a hero to me and I know you’re in a better place. I know if you were here you would’ve loved every second of it, I know you were there in spirit and smiling upon us from above.”

She also mentioned her brother, Ali Ansari, saying that “Ali fulfilled all your duties just the way you would’ve done.”

Mariam Ansari thanked all her fans and close ones who sent their blessings. She wrote to the fans, “I’m overwhelmed by all the love from the people I love. I am your fan.”
