Actress Resham Receives The ‘Pride Of Performance’ Award

Actress Resham has received the Pride Of Performance award by President Arif Alvi in Islamabad today. 

On the occasion of Pakistan Day, President Arif Alvi bestowed Resham with the honourable Pride Of Performance award for her acclaimed contributions in the industry. 

Taking to Instagram, the actress extends thankfulness and is highly grateful to Almighty Allah for this huge achievement.

“This moment seems like a dream … but my Allah had made this dream come true … this is not the Pride of Performance medal but the sweet fruit of my hard work that my Lord has chosen me to taste,” she wrote.

On the other hand, Pakistan’s acclaimed star Mehwish Hayat, on the occasion of Pakistan Day, reminisces the honourable day she had received the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz on March 23, 2019.

Taking to her Instagram, Hayat shared multiple snaps from that day and while receiving the award from President Dr Arif Alvi.

“23rd March is the day that we thank our forefathers for having the vision of creating a homeland for Muslims. We are so blessed to be able to call ourselves “Pakistani”. This day will always have added poignancy for me,” she wrote.

“Cannot believe that it is already 2 years since I was bestowed with the Tamgha-e -Imtiaz for my “contribution to Art & Cinema.”

The Dil Lagi starlet further added, “I am aware of the responsibility that comes with this honour. I wear it with pride & will continue to represent my beautiful country on every platform IA.”
