Amber Heard and Johnny Depp almost collided in court when the court took a break immediately after her evidence on Depp’s alleged sexual assault.

The Aquaman actress, 36, is being sued for $50 million by her ex-husband Depp for claiming in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed that he assaulted her. Despite the fact that she did not name him, he maintains her charges affected his capacity to work.

At the break, court security prevented Depp from leaving the courtroom, allowing Heard to leave the witness stand and return to her legal team on the opposite side of the chamber.

The ex-couple appeared to make short eye contact. The incident occurred not long after Heard delivered frightening testimony in which she claimed Depp sexually attacked her with a vodka bottle.

Amber Heard earlier stated that she fell “head over heels in love” with Depp after a “unique and spectacular” first meeting with him. Her evidence, however, took a darker turn when she recounted the first time he allegedly hit her, his jealously, and his drug and alcohol usage.
