Johnny Depp’s ex-fiancée discusses the realities of living with Johnny Depp

Jennifer Grey, Johnny Depp’s ex-fiancée, has recently revealed details about her relationship with the actor throughout their extended engagement.

In her new biography, Out of the Corner, the actress weighed in on everything.

In it, she describes Depp as a “breath of fresh air,” admitting that “we ate, spoke, drank,” and at times “laughed our [expletive] off, taking smoke breaks midcourse.”

She went so far as to remark, “He was absurdly handsome.” And he’s shockingly open, hilarious, eccentric, and lovely.”

At one point, the couple even adopted a Pekingese-poodle puppy named Lulu, who served as “our practise baby and someone to keep me company when Johnny was away.”

“Johnny was travelling back and forth from Vancouver every week at the time.”

However, about halfway into their relationship, Grey began to notice changes and reported that the actor “had begun to get into problems more and more frequently: [getting into] fights in bars, clashes with cops.”

“He’d started missing his flights home to LA because he’d overslept or, when he did get home, he’d be extremely jealous and anxious about what I’d been up to while he was gone,” he said at one point.

“I ascribed his bad temper and discontent to his being unhappy and helpless to get off [TV show] 21 Jump Street.”

Grey eventually decided to cancel the engagement after Depp left for a meeting and did not return, citing a “self-imposed streak of impetuous, destructive decision-making.”

Depp then embarked on a new whirlwind affair with Winona Ryder.
