Valerie Bertinelli is speaking candidly about the difficulties of divorce.

The Food Network actress reacted to a “worried” admirer who thought she appeared “so troubled and unhappy” on TikTok after posting a TikTok video on how she’s been dealing with “yucky stuff recently.”

On the same day she filed for divorce from husband Tom Vitale, she also posted her video answer to Instagram.

Bertinelli, 62, said in the video, “I’m just having a bad day,” added, “But you know what? Sometimes we have bad days and then we get over them and then there’s a good day. So I’m looking forward to the good day. F—k this bad day.”

After ten years of marriage, the One Day at a Time actress filed for official separation from Vitale in November 2021. Bertinelli didn’t petition for divorce until last Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court, alleging “irreconcilable disagreements.”

Patrick Bertinelli, Bertinelli’s brother, introduced the former couple. They dated for a few years before proposing in 2010.

The Hot in Cleveland alum said, “I could have spent the rest of my life with Tom and not be married, but I wanted to call him ‘my husband’,” added, “I really wanted to share how I feel about Tom with the people I love.”
