Season 3 of The Mandalorian will premiere in February 2023
The Mandalorian's third season will premiere on Disney Plus in February 2023,...
Once upon a time, Ron Howard and George Lucas sought to recreate the popularity of Star Wars by developing Willow, a whole new fantasy.
The film was released in 1988, and while I have many meaningful and wonderful memories of it, I am an exception. The picture only fared well at the box office, and any potential sequel ideas were shelved.
We’re getting a whole series dedicated to Warwick Davis’ titular wizard 34 years later. Willow, no longer a wizard in training, now wields a staff and appears to be capable of more than converting humans into a variety of animals.
A few returning characters appear in the teaser for the upcoming programme, including Joanne Whalley’s Sorsha and at least one of the brownies (played by Kevin Pollak and Rick Overton in the film).
Watch the teaser below:
The remainder of the new show’s cast was probably not even alive when the film first aired, but they have a lot to accomplish. The clip, which debuted at Star Wars Celebration, features plenty of wizardry, sword fights, smooches, and very wild hair.
The new programme will air on Disney Plus on November 30th. It’s pure millennial bait, designed to entice us in with feelings of tremendous nostalgia. At the very least, it worked with this trailer.
