In ‘Thor Love and Thunder,’ Chris Hemsworth is’scared’ by Christian Bale

• Chris Hemsworth has nothing but positive things to say about Thor: Love and Thunder co-star Christian Bale.
• In an interview with Disney D23 magazine, the Australian actor revealed how Bale’s performance had a “chilling” effect on the entire cast.

“The rest of us would be in our world of improv, comedy, and fun – then he’d walk on set, and we’d all look at each other and say, ‘Oh, my God! This is rather intense. “This is terrifying,” Hemsworth stated.

The 38-year-old actor elaborated on the The Dark Knight star’s multifaceted nature, stating that Bale’s manner was ‘calm and utterly regular’ off set, in contrast to his terrifying portrayal when acting.

“[Bale] toed this really amazing line, because he needs to be frightening, but he also needs to fit in the context of our bright, snappy, irreverent universe,” Tessa Thompson, who portrayed Valkyrie, said.
