Tom Hardy is scheduled to star in the upcoming Venom picture. The actor recently gave a sneak peek of Venom 3’s script on Instagram, revealing that he will also serve as a co-writer on the movie. With his sad character Eddie in the first Venom film, Hardy won over fans’ hearts by giving life to a fairly lovable anti-hero.

Hardy shared the title page of the screenplay on Instagram, with his name written under the “story by” line alongside Kelly Marcel, who penned the franchise’s first two editions. Hardy mysteriously blacked out the film’s title, leading fans to believe it might contain a spoiler. It is currently unknown whether Ruben Fleischer or Andy Serkis will return to direct the third installment of the franchise. Serkis has already stated that he would be willing to participate in the festivities.

He then went on to say, “I think Kelly and Tom have been thinking about what is the next stage of the journey anyway. They would have thought of… They would have had some plans for where they could possibly go after this… You’ve got to. When you’re going into a franchise, you’ve got to think about the arc, of course. You can’t think about them just individually.”
