Britney Spears said in an Instagram post Sept. 27 that she had watched some of the “last documentary” about her, and had some thoughts to share about it.

Viewer Britney Spears is present. On Monday, September 27, the pop artist revealed via Instagram that she had seen portions of the “last documentary” about her life and conservatorship and had some opinions to give.

“It’s really crazy guys,” Spears began her post, which features a video of her posing in a white crop top and matching white shorts as Natalie Taylor’s “Surrender” plays. “I watched a little bit of the last documentary and I must say I scratched my head a couple of times!!! I really try to disassociate myself from the drama !!!”

The celebrity went on to outline three criticisms she had of the unnamed documentary. Over the course of her career, she has scored six No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 and 13 top 10 singles on the Billboard Hot 100.

“Number one … that’s the past !!! Number two … can the dialogue get any classier ???” she asked with shrugging, nerd face and bawling emojis. “Number three … wow they used the most beautiful footage of me in the world [embarrassed fae emoji]!!! What can I say .. the EFFORT on their part [clapping and eye roll emojis]!!!”

Although she didn’t say which movie she watched, it was probably CNN’s Toxic: Britney Spears’ Battle for Freedom or FX’s Controlling Britney Spears, which debuted on Friday (Sept. 24) and Hulu and is the follow-up to the well-liked The New York Times Presents: Framing Britney Spears from February. (Netflix’s Britney vs. Spears premiered on September 28 in the early morning hours.)

The celebrity also gave a justification for choosing a matching white dress in her caption. She signed off for her post with three white hearts and said, “Pssss wearing WHITE for NEW BEGINNINGS.”

Since Spears gave her initial public testimony in June, interest in her conservatorship lawsuit has increased. She delivered a horrifying account of life under her strict 13-year conservatorship during the emotional hearing, comparing her “abusive” circumstances to being a victim of sex trafficking.

Since that time, Spears has hired a new legal representative, Mathew Rosengart, who has filed paperwork to have her father, Jamie Spears, removed as conservator. (The pop sensation said her father “punished” her and tightly controlled her life, stating he “should be in jail.”) Jamie later made a conservatorship termination filing.

The next hearing in the case is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 29.
