The K-pop group recently announced a new chapter in their career, and “Jack in the Box” will be their first official solo album. Big Hit says that it represents J-Audacious Hope’s desire to go against expectations and grow.
The two lead singles, which are consistent in genre and follow the narrative’s progression from beginning to end, are said to represent the album’s main message.
Strong drum beats and guitar riffs combine in the song “More” to create an old-school hip-hop track. The rapper-dancer declares adamantly that he wants “more” in the song, which is full of intense, dark, and edgy sounds.
The story of “Arson” is about him encountering the harsh world after escaping the “box.” It portrayed J-Hope’s pain as he faces a difficult decision regarding his career.
The album will be made available in a “Weverse Album” format only, not a full-fledged physical album, on July 29 after being uploaded to music services on Friday of next week. A digital album known as a “Weverse Album” can be listened to by downloading the corresponding app and scanning the QR code.
