Tom Hardy portrayed Bane in the third and final installment of The Dark Knight Trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises, released in 2012. It was another triumph that flew even higher than the previous one, which had already surpassed a billion dollars. He received a check for $15 million and no bonus for his efforts. In total, the actor earned $54 million for his performance as Batman across the full trilogy.
