Jennifer Lopez marries Ben Affleck in Las Vegas ceremony
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have reportedly tied the knot in Las Vegas, according to court records.
According to the records, the pair, whose names are Benjamin Geza Affleck and Jennifer Lynn Lopez, got married on Saturday in Clark County, Nevada.
The couple, who got back together last year after breaking off their 2002 engagement, announced their second engagement in April. JLo wore a gorgeous emerald ring to announce the news.
Prior to reconnecting, the couple called off their 2004 engagement and moved on to get married and have children with different partners.
They have just purchased a sizable new mansion in Los Angeles to live in with their blended family.
In the August 2022 issue of Elle magazine, actress Ana de Armas discussed how challenging it was to date the Batman star, saying that the constant paparazzi attention and their in-the-news relationship were “horrible” to go through.
All that publicity, though, appeared to be a blessing in disguise for Ana, who now sees the bright side of her failed marriage to Oscar-winning Ben. As she explained: “Yeah, which is good. That’s one of the reasons why I left LA.”
Before dating Ben, Ana had lived in Los Angeles for seven years, but admitted that seeing the way celebrities were followed made her rethink her living situation.
“Going through it [myself] confirmed my thoughts about, ‘This is not the place for me to be,'” she continued. “It became a little bit too much. There’s no escape. There’s no way out.”
Ben and Ana are thought to have decided to end their relationship, but neither has specifically stated why. Ana has now moved on and is now living in New York with her boyfriend, Tinder executive Paul Boukadkis.
