Ranbir Kapoor reveals he refused Aamir Khan’s advice before becoming an actor

• Ranbir Kapoor recently spoke to Prajakta Koli about Aamir Khan’s advice.

• The actor will be next seen in his upcoming movie Shamshera.

Ranbir Kapoor has recently been in the headlines because of his upcoming movie Shamshera, in which he co-stars with Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt. On July 22, the historical drama directed by Karan Malhotra will be shown in theatres.

The stars are doing all possible to promote their movie before the big day. Speaking of which, Prajakta Koli, a YouTuber and actress, recently spoke with Ranbir and Vaani. Ranbir then revealed the counsel Aamir Khan gave him before he started acting. He admitted he didn’t take it.

Ranbir was recently asked for advise for young actors between the ages of 13 and 14 who want to be performers during a conversation with JugJugg Jeeyo actress Prajakta Koli. At this point, he remembered some advice Aamir Khan had given him before he entered his field.

The Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actor said, “Aamir Khan had told me this before I became an actor which I didn’t really understand back then. I just thought ‘kya bol raha hain (what is he saying?).’ But he told me that before you become an actor, what I suggest you do is pack a bag and just travel around India. Most of us (have) grown up in luxury, who are privileged (and) don’t really know our country, our culture, and how diverse it is.”

When questioned if he had taken Khan’s counsel, he admitted that he had neglected to do so at the appropriate time. He added that it is more difficult for him to travel now that he is a well-known actor. He remembered that Aamir had advised him to take the bus and the train. Ranbir continued by noting that while he did not heed the counsel at the time, the younger generation should do so right away.

It should be noted that Ranbir tied the knot with actress Alia Bhatt on April 14, 2022, and the couple is expecting their first child.
