Neha Kakkar shed tears as she saw contestant sing ‘Maahi Ve’

Neha Kakkar has earned reputation for displaying strong emotions while serving as a judge in the singing competition.  It would appear that her reactions to performances aren’t just reserved for the show. The singer may now be viewed on a tv show, where she will make a guest appearance in a future episode. The episode’s marketing video, which featured a contestant singing one of Neha’s songs and made the actress cry, was released on Wednesday.

Neha has frequently been photographed crying throughout the years while making numerous public engagements, including on Tv programs. Following the contestant’s performance of Maahi Ve, the singer could be seen engaging with Mani in a TV channel Instagram video. Neha was photographed with her mouth open while he sung, she was looking astonished while listening to the song. Sunidhi Chauhan performed the original Maahi Ve for the movie Kaante in 2003, and Neha sang a remixed version for the movie Wajah Tum Ho in 2016.

In the video, Neha who was wearing a vibrant pink costume, could be seen complimenting Mani as she wiped away her tears. She said in Hindi. “I have played this song (Maahi Ve) in thousands of performances,”  I’ll never be able to sing it as beautifully as you did today. When the 11-year-old contestant from Punjab approached the judges’ table to ask for their approval, Neha was seen giving him a hug.

Neha took part in a singing reality show back in 2005. She participated in Indian Idol’s second season but was eliminated before the halfway point. Since then, she has produced a number of successful songs, such as Manali Trance, Garmi, and Aankh Maarey.

Reena Roy, a veteran actor, will also soon appear on the same tv show. In a promo video unveiled on Wednesday, she appeared to be equally as impressed by the performances on the show. Taapsee Pannu, Asha Parekh, and a number of other celebrities were previously spotted on the singing reality show. Tv Show, which debuted in April 2022, features vocalists Javed Ali, Alka Yagnik, and composer, singer Himesh Reshammiya as judges.
