Thank God poster: Ajay Devgn first appearance as Chitragupt
The movie “Thank God,” starring Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra, and Rakul Preet Singh, has been in the news almost every day for the wrong reasons. The recently released trailer was poorly received by online users. People have been calling for its prohibition. It has encountered some legal problems because of the way Ajay’s character Chitragupt was portrayed. However, the most recent information, Kuwait has banned the movie.
One of the biggest entertainment websites reports that the Censor Board opted against approving the movie since it would otherwise have been released in Kuwait. Rashmika Mandanna and Amitabh Bachchan’s “Goodbye” and Sunny Deol and Dulquer Salmaan’s “Chup” have both been approved by the Kuwait Censor Board.
It was previously stated that a fringe Karnataka group wanted the movie banned for making fun of religious sensibilities. Hindu Janajagruti Samithi spokesperson Mohan Gowda responded to the teaser. By saying that they would never accept the movie’s ridicule of Hindu deities Chitragupta and Lord Yama. Additionally, they have urged that “Thank God” be banned for offending religious emotions and that the Censor Board refuse to certify the movie.
