Oprah Winfrey became the center of attention at TIFF
In a sparkling sequin gown, Oprah Winfrey stole everyone’s attention as she led the cast at the TIFF documentary debut for Sidney Poitier. The 68-year-old veteran TV personality attended the international premiere of the new documentary about the late Sidney Poitier, a giant on the silver screen in Hollywood.
Not only did the so-called Queen Of All Media regard him as a friend and mentor. But she also collaborated with Derik Murray on the production of the new movie.
Sidney, which was directed by Reginald Hudlin and written by Jesse James Miller, made its eagerly awaited debut at the Toronto International Film Festival on Saturday. This event occurred regrettably eight months after Sidney Poitier passed away at the age of 94. When Winfrey appeared in front of Roy Thomson Hall, mere feet from the red carpet, she radiated beautiful beauty.
The renowned talk show presenter completed her ensemble with a pair of matching rings and sparkly earrings while flashing her contagious smile.
Oprah was beaming as she posed with Tyler Perry, a friend and director.
The celebrated actor and director Sidney, the first Black actor to receive the Academy Award for Best Actor, is the subject of Sidney, which chronicles his life and career.
