Recently released film “Brahmastra,” starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, earned both positive and negative reviews, but did well at the box office. While sources indicate that the film’s reviews have led to a decline in the shares of theater chains like PVR and Inox, the movie is still one of Ranbir and Alia’s biggest box office successes. The market capitalization of the cinema chains reportedly decreased by close to 800 crore on Friday.
Vivek responded to the report via his Twitter account. He wrote, “Problem is everything runs on fakeness in Bollywood. And nobody is answerable. No industry can survive which invests 0% in R&D and wastes 70-80% money on stars.”
