Tamannaah Bhatia isn’t the one for fancy dating says it’s stressful
Tamannaah Bhatia admits that despite her fame, she is really just a simpleton at heart. So much so that she gets anxious just thinking about nice dinner dates. Tamannaah recently made an appearance on Kusha Kapila’s Swipe Ride season 2 and discussed her dating preferences as well as mentoring someone in the field. The star mentioned her dislike of formal dinner dates throughout their talk.
In each episode of Swipe Ride, Kusha rides along with a famous person as they try to mentor a different person on how to approach a date. Tamannaah Bhatia, who will soon be seen as a matchmaker in her upcoming Netflix film Plan A Plan B, was a guest on the most recent episode. “I have a little bit of an experience (in matchmaking) now,” she joked on the show, adding, “I have actually had a brief encounter with what matchmaker lives are.”
Pranjal joined Kusha and Tamannaah in the episode and requested their assistance with her date. Tamannaah mentioned that she prefers casual dates in the monsoon as they discussed suitable locations for a date. Talking about the rain outside, she said, “Today is actually the kind of day that I would imagine as my kind of a date.” The actor then revealed she has an aversion to fancy dinner dates.
Talking about the reason behind it, she said, “I can’t do fancy dates. I am very bad with that. I am very awkward with a fancy place. I am someone who has always eaten with my hands. So when you have to really hold a knife and a fork and you have to start doing all that (mimics cutting food with cutlery), I feel it’s too much stress.” Tamannaah added that she would be willing to eat with her hands when out on dates if the other person didn’t make her feel criticized. The episode of the show, which was produced by Tinder India, debuted on their YouTube account on Thursday night.
