Anushka Sharma binges on street food while shooting

Anushka Sharma is now in Kolkata for the Chakda Xpress filming of the Jhulan Goswami biopic. The actor posted a few images from the city of West Bengal to display all the wholesome street cuisine she includes in her diet.

She posted a little video of a street vendor preparing jhalmuri for her, which is a mix of puffed rice with various spices, onion, and tomato. She also uploaded a photo of herself holding a snack that was served in a cone made of newspaper. Sharing another picture of her holding guava slices on a piece of newspaper, Anushka wrote, “Jhalmuri and amrood (guava) for breakfast. Who wants to be in my diet plan?”

Anushka completed the film’s England schedule earlier this month. After starring alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif in Zero in 2018, she makes a comeback with Chakda Xpress. Chakda Xpress, a sports biopic by Prosit Roy that will only be available on Netflix, is based on the life of former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami. The movie’s precise release date is still pending. Karnesh Sharma, the brother of Anushka, is directing the movie through his in-house production business Clean Slate Filmz. In September, Jhulan declared his retirement from cricket. Anushka posted some of her photos on Instagram along with a message for her. She wrote, “An inspiration. A role-model. A legend. Your name will be etched in history forever. Thank you @jhulangoswami, for being a game changer in Indian Women’s Cricket.”

Anushka announced her comeback movie with a special announcement video at the beginning of 2022. She will be portraying a cricket player for the first time in her career. After giving birth to her first child, daughter Vamika, with husband Virat Kohli, she took a significant career pause.
