At the trailer launch for HIT 2, when asked about Shraddha Walkar, director Sailesh Kolanu talked about how movies can influence real-life crimes.

The trailer for the upcoming Telugu thriller HIT 2 about a serial killer came out on Wednesday. From what I’ve seen, the movie looks like an exciting investigative thriller with a lot of violence. At the event where the trailer was released, the film’s director, Sailesh Kolanu, was asked about the idea that violent movies cause real crimes. Sailesh said it’s very important not to make violence look cool. Also, check out the trailer for HIT 2, in which Adivi Sesh goes after a serial killer who cuts women into pieces. Watch

In HIT 2, police officer Krishna Dev (Adivi Sesh) of the Telangana Police’s Homicide Intervention Team (HIT) deals with a new case involving a serial killer who cuts up women and puts their body parts on display for fun. Many people said that the movie reminded them of a murder that happened not long ago.

A reporter brought up the recent murder of Shraddha Walkar and asked if violent movies could make people do violent things in real life. “Two things are true. When talking about these kinds of crimes, it’s very important not to make violence look like a fun thing to do. We took care of that very well. We didn’t make the crime in the movie look cool. “This is a story about how good beats evil in a battle,” Sailesh said.

He said that it was important to show such violent crimes on screen because movies are a reflection of what goes on in a society. “As filmmakers, we hope that when we show these kinds of crimes and also show how good beats evil, the audience will be moved by the good. No one will make a movie hoping that the bad parts will inspire people. Second, criminals with this kind of mind don’t need to watch movies to get ideas. “Everything they see can give them ideas,” he said. He went on to say that creative outlets can’t be closed because someone might be influenced by them.

Adivi Sesh said at the event that he will be in HIT 3, the third movie in the series. Meenakshi Chaudhary, Rao Ramesh, Tanikella Bharani, and Komalee Prasad are also in HIT 2, which comes out on December 2.
