Lindsay Lohan and Chord Overstreet talks about their Netflix flick Falling for Christmas

Lindsay Lohan and Chord Overstreet discussed the Netflix movie Falling for Christmas and discussed whether or not they would be interested in a future sequel.

“Yeah, we would,” Lindsay exclusively revealed on the Nov. 11, “I mean, I would.”

Regarding a prospective sequel, Chord concurred with his co-star and added that he had “so much fun” on the set. “We had a great time.”

The movie, which is currently available to watch online, centres on Lindsay as an heiress named Sierra who ends up in the care of ski lodge owner Jake after losing her memories in a skiing accident (Chord). As they collaborate to salvage his family’s business, the two get close, but as memories of her old life resurface, she is forced to consider what she truly wants from life.

Lindsay also doubles as the movie’s executive producer, a role she claimed she was thrilled to take on. Lindsay provides a number of humorous moments throughout the rom-com, like flipping over a chair after being startled by a raccoon and having trouble putting sheets on a bed.

“It was a great feeling to have a little bit more control over the dynamics of how it goes on behind the scenes on set,” the actress shared, “and then the editing process after and the final product of the movie. Just to have a say in those, those aspects of the film, it was really exciting for me.”

In an interview, Chord commended Lindsay’s work behind the camera”She had such a great attention to detail on something and figuring out if something does or doesn’t work. Very hands-on, in a great way.”

Aliana “Ali” Lohan, Lindsay’s younger sister, contributes two songs to the soundtrack and makes a brief appearance in the film as one of Sierra’s stylists. This is one of the benefits of being an executive producer on a production.

“She was she was a little nervous at first, but she was great in the role,” Lindsay shared. “I think whenever you can have family and you can bring them into the work that you’re doing and share these moments with them, I think it’s just so special, and it just brings together a greater product in the end.”

Falling For Christmas is streaming now on Netflix.
