David Harbour has already started preparing for the filming of Stranger Things'...
The last season of Stranger Things is widely anticipated after Season 4’s success. The show’s makers recently disclosed how they changed the Season 5 storyline despite fan theories.
Ross and Matt Duffer teased the last season of Stranger Things at WG Festival 2022 (through Netflix’s TUDUM) and discussed how they altered the screenplay and adjusted their initial ending plan after Season 4. Matt says the two decided, “Document was reread. We say, “Cool!” That’s bad. That’s not good.”
Season 5 ends: Matt Duffer
Matt stated of Stranger Things’ finale, “Even the ending’s changed. The broad ideas are same, but the details are different.” The Duffer Brothers wrote Season 5’s outline during the pandemic. Many believe the creators adjusted Season 5 after the fourth season’s reception. The showrunners teased that most of the “huge ending stuff” was influenced by Season 2 material.
Eddie Munson: Season 5?
Joseph Quinn’s character Eddie Munson died in the second volume of the fourth season. Fans mourned Eddie’s death, but many believe the showrunners may bring him back by twisting his death into the conclusion. Eddie was assaulted by Demobats in Season 4 Volume 2 while distracting Nancy, Steve, and Robin (Maya Hawke). Eddie Munson was seen dying in the Upside Down and telling Dustin Henderson (Gaten Matarazzo), “I love you, man.”
Stranger Things Season 5’s release date is unknown.
