Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan were reportedly arrested during a home invasion.
The raid was apparently conducted as part of an inquiry into the kidnapping of two girls.
The raid was performed by the Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism, according to the reports.
According to the allegations, Tate and his brother were in police detention after their home was raided in relation to the alleged kidnapping of two girls.
A film circulating on social media depicted Tate being escorted out of the villa by police officers.
No other information was available on the raid and the charges that led to the duo’s purported arrest.
According to a private broadcaster, investigators have focused their attention on a number of fancy vehicles at the property.
It was stated that a police trailer was present, possibly to transport one or more automobiles.
A former policewoman’s residence was also searched as part of the investigation.
Andrew Tate faced suspicions of human trafficking in Romania months before the searches.
According to dexerto.com, the problems originated from a swatting event, citing Tate.
“I was not arrested. What happened is I suffered from a case of swatting. It’s very popular with people who are large on the internet,” he was reported to have said.
“ouse against their will, there was no crime committed […] we had to go to the police station for 45 minutes for pieces of paper, we filled them in and we were let go.”
