The pop star started sending gifts to sick kids in the UK city after a terrorist attack at one of her concerts there in 2017 killed 22 people. This year, she made sure that plenty of gifts for sick kids were sent to the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.

The gifts were given to young people who were getting care at the medical centre, Wythenshawe Hospital, and North Manchester General Hospital.

On the RMCH Charity’s Instagram page, a picture of the stack of gifts under a Christmas tree with a note that said “Thank you Ariana x” was posted.

The caption added: “Thank you Ariana! We were so excited to receive Christmas gifts for young patients across our hospitals from Ariana Grande.

“The presents were distributed to babies, children and teenagers at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, Wythenshawe Hospital and North Manchester General Hospital.”

At Ariana’s concert at the Manchester Arena in 2017, an attack killed 22 people, including an eight-year-old girl, and hurt 139 others.

Just a few weeks later, Ariana bravely went back to the city to take part in the One Love benefit concert. The concert raised £17 million for good causes and had performances by Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Katy Perry, and Liam Gallagher, who is from Manchester.

Ariana has been sending presents to Manchester hospitals over the last few years. A previous note from Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital praised her generosity, declaring: “We are extremely grateful to Ariana Grande for thinking of our young patients this Christmas. It means so very much to us that the hospital is close to Ariana’s heart and that she has chosen to spread festive cheer by donating vouchers, toys and gifts for our patients.”
