Cardi B Says Her New Album Will Drop ‘Next Year’

Since Cardi B released her Grammy-winning debut album Invasion of Privacy in 2018, fans have been waiting to see what the rapper will do next.

Thursday on The Breakfast Club, host Charlamagne Tha God asked the “Bodak Yellow” rapper if she knew when her next album would come out.

She said, “I have no choice, I have to put it out.” “I have a few songs that I know for sure, but I don’t know what they are. I have no idea what’s wrong with me. I need to just decide what I want and say it.”

Then she told them what the project is “Something is missing. I have to get it out, and I have to get it out again next year.”

In another part of the interview, the host brought up the idea of releasing it on April 6, 2023, which is five years after the release of Invasion of Privacy. She wasn’t against it!

The rapper’s most recent song is “Tomorrow 2,” which he made with GloRilla. The two of them performed it at the American Music Awards last month.

GloRilla, who is 23, started the performance by rapping with dancers wearing white versions of her outfit. She was wearing a sporty yellow bralette, high-waisted pants, and long gloves. Cardi B then came out of an open-doored purple sports car. She was wearing a baby blue outfit similar to GloRilla’s and did her verse.

The two of them then did choreography with the dancers. Cardi B had a smile on her face the whole time and stuck her tongue out every time she hit a mark.
