The Flash‘ has a new look for fans shows the ultimate journey of Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) . For the forthcoming ninth and last season of the programme, The CW has unveiled a brand-new teaser.

The trailer opens with Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) commending Barry for everything he has endured over the previous nine years. Barry then appears in the woods wearing only his Flash outfit and declaring that he needs someone’s assistance to rescue the planet.

The Flash and Iris West-Allen (Candice Patton) are seen squaring off with the new Captain Boomerang in the trailer (Richard Harmon). Barry is then pictured with Jon Cor’s Mark Blaine, who was last seen with Danielle Panabaker’s Caitlin Snow just before she entered a Consciousness Resurrection Chamber to aid in the reanimation of Killer Frost.

A hand appears in the chamber at S.T.A.R. Labs in the trailer as well. The teaser ends with a view of The Flash and Barry saying, “Let’s do this one final time,” in voiceover.

Season 9 of The Flash’s cancellation was revealed in August. “9 seasons! Saving Central City for nine years while taking viewers on an emotional journey filled with compassion, humour, and spectacle, “When the series finale was revealed, showrunner Eric Wallace described it.

Barry Allen has finally arrived at the starting line for his final race. The Flash will surpass Arrow, which aired for eight seasons from 2012 to 2020, as the longest-running Arrowverse series when it concludes after its ninth season.

It will be the second-longest-running DC Comics series on The CW, just behind Smallville, which aired for 10 seasons between 2001 and 2011.

The Arrowverse, which debuted on The CW in 2012 with Arrow, will come to an end with The Flash’s ninth season. There will also be some recognisable characters from other Arrowverse series returning in the ninth season.

Javicia Leslie, who portrayed Ryan Wilder/the second Batwoman in the film Batwoman, will be one of them. Following Bruce Wayne’s (Warren Christie) cousin Kate Kane, Wilder was the second figure in the Arrowverse to assume the role of Batwoman (originally played by Ruby Rose and later Wallis Day).

Leslie previously had two guest appearances in The Flash’s eighth season as part of the “Armageddon” plot. As Dreamer/Nia Nal, Nicole Maines will return for the season. Nia previously made an appearance in Supergirl seasons 4-6. As part of the 2019–2020 “Crisis on Infinite Earths” storyline, Dreamer collaborated with The Flash and the other Arrowverse heroes.

On Wednesday, February 8, The CW will air the first episode of The Flash’s final season. Currently, you can watch the first eight seasons on Netflix.
