NBC premieres “Dolly Parton’s Mountain Magic Christmas”
Dolly Parton's Mountain Magic Christmas will air on NBC on December 1....
Dolly Parton & Miley Cyrus went all out in their Saturday night co-hosting of NBC’s “Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party.”
In matching leopard-print ensembles that left little to the imagination, the pair made their grand arrival on the stage in Miami.
Parton, 76, wore a skintight black jumpsuit with mesh panels, sharp studs, and sensual cut-outs. With hoop earrings, stiletto boots, and a brand-new bright red manicure, the legend of country music finished the look.
With a provocative peek-a-boo thong and a body-con black dress, Cyrus, 30, channeled “Aunt Dolly.”
With crimped locks like her godmother, the “Party in the USA” singer accessorized with a thick chain statement necklace, leopard-print gloves, and stiletto heels.
To an enthusiastic gathering of partygoers, the two opened the program by singing Joan Jett & the Blackhearts’ “I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll.”
In equally stylish outfits, Cyrus and Parton frequently shared the stage throughout the evening to perform timeless favourites like “Wrecking Ball” and “Jolene.”
They sang a touching rendition of “I Will Always Love You” to close the special.
At one point, Parton addressed the audience, “I tell ya, this is the delight of my life, to get to host the program with Miley.”
“We are all aware of how much I have cherished her when she was a tiny child. She is now a large creature, but I still adore her. I’ll adore you forever.
That’s how I feel about you, Aunt Dolly, Cyrus kindly said.
Along with appearances from Latto, Fletcher, Sia, Paris Hilton, Chloe Fineman, and others, the show also included a teaser for Cyrus’ upcoming single, “Flowers,” which will be released on January 13.
New Miley, New Single: “NEW YEAR. The “Hannah Montana” star later posted on Instagram, “FLOWERS JANUARY 13.”
