Farah Khan attends Beyonce’s concert at Atlantis

Before Beyonce’s private concert, Farah Khan uploaded a video of herself in Dubai wearing a “fantastical Manish Malhotra garment.” The movie director was in Dubai for the official launch of the opulent Atlantis The Royal hotel on Palm Jumeirah, along with numerous other Bollywood celebs. Celebrities like Gauri Khan, Suhana Khan, Shanaya Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, and Shibani Dandekar are on the guest list. This weekend’s launch of the Atlantis The Royal in Dubai was also celebrated by model Kendall Jenner, rapper Jay-Z, and musician Liam Payne.

Farah Khan tweeted a video on Saturday showing off her designer attire as she entered Atlantis The Royal, the newest five-star hotel in Dubai. She wore a matching outfit underneath a long jacket in purple and crimson. “All set for Beyonce in a spectacular Manish Malhotra costume!” Farah wrote as the caption to her video. “You are wonderful,” the designer wrote in a comment on her Instagram Reels. One of your best looks, a fan wrote.

Atlantis The Royal hosted Beyonce for a special concert on Saturday that was by invitation only. Despite the event’s organizers asked that photography be prohibited, a number of videos and photographs were posted on social media and received positive feedback from followers. Since 2018, Beyonce has not performed a full-length concert.

The singer reportedly received $24 million (about 195 crore) for her performance at the Atlantis The Royal, in addition to a stay at the resort’s $100,000 (around 81 lakh) per night room. “Beyonce is currently residing at our Royal Residence, which is the most expensive and, in our opinion, the largest mansion in the world. The 11,000 square foot room costs $100,000 a night to stay in, Atlantis Resorts managing director and vice president Timothy Kelly said on Saturday.

In Dubai, Farah and other Bollywood celebrities enjoyed a busy weekend. Farah had earlier on Saturday posted a collection of images showing herself having a “wonderful evening” in the UAE city with the “proper people.” She was spotted with actor-director Farhan Akhtar and his actress wife Shibani Dandekar. At a celebrity-studded event at the Atlantis The Royal on Friday, Shanaya Kapoor and Suhana Khan were also spotted partying as they posed with Kendall Jenner. Shanaya and Maheep Kapoor, a reality television star, both posted images and videos from the celebration on Instagram Stories.
