Jeremy Renner 52-year-old actor posted a photo of himself in a bed undergoing what looked to be physical treatment on Instagram early on Saturday morning.

Renner stated in the post’s description, “Resolutions and early morning workouts have both changed this particular New Year’s. sprang out of the sorrow that befell my entire family and was soon centered on bringing people together in love.”

The Mayor of Kingstown actor then expressed his desire for “to express my gratitude for everyone’s kind words and concern for my family and I. I love and appreciate you all very much.” As the love and bond with family and friends become stronger, so too will these more than 30 fractured bones, said Renner.

On January 1, Renner was driven over by a “very enormous piece of snow-removal equipment” he owned and was taken by helicopter to a nearby hospital. In the days following the tragedy, according to his representatives and Washoe County Sheriff Darin Balaam, the mishap happened as he cleared his driveway and assisted his neighbors with snow removal.

The actor underwent emergency surgery the following day after sustaining “blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries,” according to a statement from his rep.

This month, a source close to Renner said that while the actor is recovering, he still has “a long road to recovery.” The insider stated, “Jeremy is making positive progress,” reiterating Kym Renner’s statement that The Avengers star was “busting all development targets.”

After his accident earlier this week, Renner made his most recent Instagram post after making his first trip back to his Nevada home. Late on Monday night, Renner responded to a tweet from the Mayor of Kingstown account regarding the start of the second season of the show. The actor claimed in a tweet that he could watch the most recent episode of his Paramount+ series at home.

I was quite delighted to watch episode 201 with my family at home, despite my recovery-related brain fog, Renner wrote on Twitter. Earlier on Monday, Renner posted a picture to his Instagram Story that appeared to show his home in the Reno, Nevada, area covered in a thick layer of snow. “Missing my happy place …” Renner wrote in the caption, seemingly hours before he returned from the hospital amid his recovery.
