King Charles and Camilla are jolly on New Year’s Day
Charles and Camilla greeted guests at Sandringham before New Year's Day service....
King Charles III is claimed to be playing a “rather clever long game” because he is said to be aware of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s future and has not replied to their recent attacks on the palace.
According to historian David Starkey, who spoke about Harry and Meghan, Charles, the new ruler of Britain, is behaving shrewdly as he waits for the couple to “destruct themselves.”
David made these assertions when speaking with Esther McVey and Philip Davies during their discussion on the passing of Queen Elizabeth II and the contentious Netflix documentary that Harry and Meghan released.
When Queen Elizabeth presided over a vital meeting at Sandringham in January 2020 as a last-ditch effort to resolve the “Megxit problem,” Harry accused his father of making false statements.
The Duke further claimed that despite making a vow never to do so, his brother Prince William’s staff was spreading false information against him.
The specialist commented on it, saying: “I don’t think they much matter, look at the opinion polls today. I mean, a near majority of people not only say they don’t much like them, but they actually want them stripped of their titles.”
“With every passing day, I think with every desperate attempt at taking a little molehill of grievance and trying to turn it into a vast, vast Himalayas of resentment, they become less relevant,” he continued.
David Starkey continued, What I think Charles is doing is actually playing a rather clever long game. What I would guess he is doing is waiting for them to destroy themselves. So he doesn’t actually need to do anything very dramatic. He’s just letting events take their course, which I think is a very wise thing to do.”
