Meghan McCain unveils first photo of newborn baby Clover

Meghan McCain 38-year-old former View co-host posted a number of images to Instagram on Saturday, giving fans their first glimpse of her second child, Clover Jade McCain Domenech, whom she and her husband Ben Domenech share.

McCain captioned her image, “We are happy to welcome our little daughter Clover Jade McCain Domenech on Thursday morning. “We appreciate the kind words and are blissfully content, healthy, and worn out. ♥️🍀.”

She also included the quotation: “A toast to powerful women. May we get to know them. May we embody them. Let us bring them up.” Liberty Sage, McCain’s 2-year-old daughter, can be seen in the carousel of pictures watching her sister snooze in one picture while the family of four is posed together in another.

Another image shows Clover with a hospital blanket and a ribbon on her head, and the final image is of Cindy McCain, John McCain’s mother, posing with her most recent grandchild. In a story published by The Daily Mail the next day, McCain and Domenech declared they had welcomed Clover on Thursday.

The couple announced in a statement that they had welcomed Clover Jade McCain Domenech into their family “yesterday morning.” Ben and I are ecstatic to introduce Liberty to her infant sister and to begin this new journey together.

Just in time for the toddler’s second birthday, McCain honoured his own daughter, Liberty, on National Daughter’s Day back in September.

“Liberty, my stunning, fiery, wildling, is someone I adore more than life itself. You saved me, and it is an honour to see how much you have grown “She composed.

McCain added, “To my next daughter, I swear to keep you safe, to keep your heart wild, and to teach you how to harness your strength and fire – and how to survive in this harsh world & save us from the impending cataclysmic doom like Sarah Connor.

Added her: “My genetic makeup called for females. I have always had an inherent understanding of girls. Raising them and being surrounded by tremendous beautiful feminine energy is the greatest blessing of my life.”
