The 95th Academy Awards nominations were announced on Tuesday morning by Allison Williams and Riz Ahmed.
The Upcoming event will take place on Sunday, March 12, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and will be broadcast live on ABC. Jimmy Kimmel, the late-night presenter who previously presided over the 2017 and 2018 ceremonies, will serve as the emcee this year.
Winners in all 23 categories will be announced live during the main presentation, according to Bill Kramer, CEO of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, who made the announcement in November.
The programme featured pre-recorded excerpts from the acceptance speeches for the eight categories that were shortened for time and presented before the ceremony last year.
