Pathaan, directed by Siddharth Anand, slowed down a little on its opening Monday but still managed to bring in over $25 million net in Hindi. Along with Dimple Kapadia, Ashutosh Rana, and others, it features Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham in the key roles. On Monday, the main cast held their first public event where they discussed the movie’s popularity, its sequel, and other topics.
The movie has now made roughly 296 crore in Hindi, indicating that on Tuesday it will surpass the 300 crore mark. On January 25, the movie was released, and a five-day long weekend followed (though Friday was a non-holiday). In India, the Hindi version’s debut brought in 55 crore rupees
The movie brought in 25 crore net. It alludes to the Hindi version’s opening weekend grossing 350 crore. The picture is expected to break the all-time box office record there in its original version in just seven or eight days, according to the report, which also stated that the outside market held up quite well on Monday.
Shah Rukh Khan said, “We are all extremely grateful to the audience and media for supporting the film so much in spite of the fact that there might have been things that would have curtailed the happy release of the film. There were times when we had to call people and ask them to please let us release our film peacefully. Film watching and filmmaking is an experience of love and I want to thank all the people who helped us release this film for the people.”
