Pathaan starrer SRK & Deepika will release on Prime Video

Following the publication of the Pathaan teaser last week, the Delhi High Court on Monday asked Yash Raj Films (YRF) Production to make some adjustments to the film.

According to a fresh report, the court has ordered the production firm to include’ subtitles, close captioning, and audio description in Hindi’ so that hearing and visually-impaired people can enjoy the film on OTT platforms. It has requested that YRF submit the changes for re-certification to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

Pathaan, directed by Siddharth Anand, stars Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia, and Ashutosh Rana in leading parts. It will be released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on January 25, 2023.

According to Bar and Bench, the judge ordered the producers to give the information by February 20. It also mandated that the CBFC make a determination by March 10.

The court made no decisions about Pathaan’s theatrical release, which is scheduled for January 25.

According to the source, the film will be available on Amazon Prime Video in April. As a result, the judge indicated that the producers can make the necessary revisions before then. The court refused to issue a directive on Pathaan’s theatrical release.

The Pathaan crew recently released the film’s official trailer, which drew a massive response from fans. The two-and-a-half-minute video features Shah Rukh and Deepika Padukone as covert operatives battling a formidable antagonist, represented by John Abraham, who is planning a major strike in India.

The teaser began with mercenary outfit Outfit X, lead by John Abraham, spreading devastation and proclaiming an impending invasion on Indian land.

Pathaan, India’s spy, has been repatriated. The following scene depicts Shah Rukh’s spy daringly escaping out of a prison with all guns blazing.

The plot then shifts to several worldwide locations, as well as the introduction of Deepika’s character, who helps Shah Rukh in his goal to bring down John’s terrorist organisation.

The remainder of the teaser teases the lavish action sequences that filmmaker Siddharth has in store for the audience.

Shah Rukh attended the Pathaan teaser premiere last week at Dubai’s Burj Khalifa. Several fan organisations posted footage and photos from the scene. In one of the photos, Shah Rukh can be seen striking his trademark posture in front of the Burj Khalifa.

He was spotted glancing at the trailer displayed on the skyscraper in another snap. On the Jhoome Jo Pathaan song, he was also spotted shaking his leg.
