In a recent interview, Anurag Kashyap discussed his experiences working with actor Abhishek Bachchan. The director claimed that Abhishek “was really brattish” in his early days in the film business. He also recalls telling Amitabh Bachchan to tone down his acting while they were filming for the television program Yudh. Amitabh, according to Anurag, “takes criticism well.”.

“Anurag and I (Abhishek) collaborated on Yuva. The dialogue for that movie is my own. My brother worked as an AD on it as well, and we collaborated closely with Abhishek on the dubbing of the movie. He is a really diligent individual. He enjoys cuisine and is cultured. But in the beginning, he was a real brat. He would make fun of everything and had no sense of seriousness. But both he and other people evolve. That Abhishek is quite different from the Abhishek I worked with on Manmarziyaan, “Anurag Kashyap spoke to The Lallantop in Hindi and made a statement.

Anurag continued by sharing Amitabh’s response to being requested to lessen the Amitabh Bachchan-ness of his performance in Yudh. “He is tolerant of criticism. I saw that he was giving a typical Amitabh Bachchan performance, and I told him that I needed something more authentic, “In the same interview, Anurag remarked.

On Yudh, Anurag served as the creative director. Actors Sarika, Zakir Hussain, Mona Wasu, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Kay Kay Menon were also present. 2014 saw Yudh’s Sony Entertainment Television debut.

On February 3, the newest movie from Anurag featuring DJ Mohabbat, Almost Pyaar, was released. Anurag’s musical romantic drama stars Alaya F and Karan Mehta, who is making his acting debut. A passage from the Hindustan Times review of Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat said, “Anurag Kashyap’s Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat could seem a little unusual if you are tired of seeing mindless movies that only look wonderful on screen and don’t ask you to search for logic. Not because of any outstanding artistic merit, but rather because of the sheer intricacy that Kashyap injects into his narrative, which makes it tougher for you to focus on the screen and make sense of what is even happening.”
