When Sanjay Leela Bhansali was asked, “Can you ever make a realistic film?”
Sanjay Leela Bhansali turned 60 on February 24. He is known for...
After spending Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s birthday with him, Alia Bhatt posted a joyful photo of the two of them. They were both wearing white for the occasion when the actor posted the picture on Instagram.
Alia wore pearl earrings and a big white silk pant suit. Next to Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who was dressed in a linen shirt, she grinned broadly. But, Alia decided to commemorate the anniversary of their movie Gangubai Kathiawadi in the caption rather than send wishes to Sanjay on his birthday. She penned, “One year of our Gangu.”
Supporters of the filmmaker and star loved the movie as well. A fan commented, “I recently watched the movie on Netflix and liked it, you were fantastic in it. Another added, “I’m going to watch it again today.” “Gangubai was the movie I never realized I wanted yet I needed it so badly,” another fan commented. Happy for you! You did a fantastic job.

Ranveer Singh, a frequent business partner of Sanjay, was also seen traveling to the birthday celebration. He entered the location right away while wearing a white shirt and blue jeans. Sonakshi Sinha, his co-star from Lootera, was also spotted. She will appear alongside other celebrities in Sanjay’s web series Heeramandi.
Earlier last week, Sanjay released a teaser poster for Heeramandi. Ted Sarandos, the CEO of Netflix, came in Mumbai to promote Netflix India and debut the poster alongside Sanjay. In addition, he lauded the Indian director for his skill in achieving harmony between “style, drama, and content.”
“When I consider your career, the universes you are creating are all quite diverse, including Silence (Khamoshi), Black, Gangubai Kathiawadi, and now Heeramandi. You have a special talent for moving a story along while striking the ideal balance between style, drama, and content.
“The pictures you put on the screen and the way they make you feel, sometimes it’s a tiny dance step and other times it’s in a line of conversation, it’s subtle and wonderfully impactful. You appear to put a lot of energy into the brief emotional moments. It is a lovely form of art, the boss declared.
